My artistic path has always been complex and full of obstacles, most of the time. I acted counter to the full-flagged dictatorship of conceptual art, in the seventies, my production was extremely figurative. Against the reduction of art to a mere linguistic exercise, devoid of content, my research always offered a balanced set of concept and formal language. I oppose the communicative warmth of my manual skills to the arrogance of the cold digital and technological language having an end in itself.

Born in Apricena (Foggia - Italy) in 1954, I live and work in Bari. I teach painting disciplines at the state artistic high-school “De Nittis – Pascali” in Bari. I have organized several solo exhibitions and participated in numerous collective exhibitions, to name but a few:
