The president of the Italian Citizens Ombudsman agency, Professor Ciavarella entrusted me with the creation of two sarcophagi and an altar in Apricena limestone for his cemetery chapel.
I decided to transform the heaviness of the concept of death into the lightness of a night sleep, the heaviness of the stone into the lightness of an embroidered sheet and tablecloth.
The two sarcophagi and the altar are located in “Domenico Ciavarella” chapel in San Marco in Lamis cemetery.
